THE FOUR FACTORS
What we are actually weighing during a review
- Reasoning density. How often a decision appears with its justification attached, rather than as a bare fact.
- Continuity. Whether the record runs unbroken, or fragments across migrations and abandoned systems.
- Outcome coverage. Whether judgements can be matched to what eventually happened, which is what makes them instructive.
- Breadth of situation. Whether the same method appears across genuinely different problems, or only a narrow band of them.
